April – September 2009— Final DFIRM and updated floodplain management ordinances adopted by all communities; updated floodplain management ordinances approved by FEMA Regional Office

April 17, 2009 — Letters of Final Determination issued to Chief Executive Officers in Hancock County, Bay St. Louis, and Waveland; Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) finalized

January - February 2009 — Community review of FEMA resolution of appeals and other comments submitted during 90-day appeal period, including community coordination of final comments with FEMA and State
